Theatrical screening of "Space Battleship Yamato 2202 Ai no Senshi" Chapter 4 "Tenshi Hen" started on January 27th. In accordance with that, the latest information of Chapter 5 was revealed. The subtitle is decided as "Purgatory Hen" and theaters are screened on May 25. 

The fifth chapter "Purgatory Hen" is an episode composed of a total of four episodes from the 15th talk to the 18th episode. The goddess Teresa was not alone waiting for Yamato who reached the legendary planetary telezart. Former enemy Desderr appears before the ancients. Yamato fought with the Deathler fleet gathered by former members of Gamirasu, and keymen, who rushed to the ancients, took amazing actions. 

In one Gatlantis, a new surveyor awakens, and a full-scale invasion of the planet is commenced at last. Gatlantis, who annihilates every civilization and life, and a wave fire fleet, mainly of flagship Andromeda, crash. The Blu-ray special limited version of Chapter 5 is released on May 25 at the screening theater and on June 1 at the Bandai Visual Club. The limited edition bonus is a collection of scrolls and scenarios. The regular version of BD / DVD will be released on June 22. 
Digital cell version · long-term rental version will start distribution from 12 o'clock May 25th.
